As you know, MSD increased their wwuser charge rates and more recently storm service charge rates. My MSD bill has increased 37%! I talked with MSD to no avail. They said that my Storm service charge had gone up so significantly because they did aerial views of homes in St. Louis metro area and based the increased fee by ‘impervious’ area (run off..roof, driveway, patio) I am paying more for storm service charge than my neighbors because I have more roof and a larger driveway. I am single homeowner and dweller, they have 3 people living there, have a daughter and 4 grandchildren that come over daily, so I’m sure that their toilets get flushed more, they also wash their car & truck weekly which drains into the sewer and yet I am paying more for my storm service charge because I have more ‘impervious’ area. It’s a crock and an easy way for MSD to make more money at other peoples’ expense! Consumers need to rise up and counter MSD, especially when their service is so poor anyway!

the bill is $36 a month. I sent in their dispute form, and havent heard anything. In the meantime I got another bill.
This is agricultural ground, pasture and hay field with a gravel road.
