Please join Consumers Council for a fun wine tasting party, on June 27, 2025, to support our vision of building a more inclusive and equitable community for Missouri consumers who are low- and moderate-income.
On October 27, 2024, Consumers Council hosted its annual fundraising event at the Exodus Gallery, bringing together supporters, advocates, and community leaders to celebrate the organization’s achievements. Pam Talley was honored with the Joyce Armstrong Award for her exceptional collaborative advocacy. As both a dedicated nurse and a leader in the Lewis Place/Fountain Park neighborhood, Ms. Talley has been a tireless advocate for creating a more equitable and inclusive environment for the residents of North St. Louis. Les Sterman received the Directors’ Award for his outstanding service as a board member of Consumers Council from 2015 to 2024. His leadership, dedication, and steadfast commitment to the organization’s mission have been integral to our success.
The evening also featured a keynote by Roger Colton, a prominent low-income water utility advocate, who spoke passionately about the need for affordable water rates to ensure all households have reliable access to safe water for health and hygiene. CCM board members and staff reflected on the organization’s accomplishments over the past year.
A special thank you to our Flagship Sponsor, Enterprise Bank and Trust, and our Champion Consumer Sponsors: FCB Banks, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, Renew Missouri, William Siedhoff, Simmons Bank, and Dr. Ed Weisbart. We also extend our gratitude to the board members, staff, and guests whose contributions made this event a tremendous success.
