PSC Chair Hahn Asked Governor Parson to Remove Zip Code Requirement from Disconnection Data Reporting Rule

A blog post recently released by the Energy and Policy Institute reveals that Missouri PSC Chair Kayla Hahn asked Governor Parson to deny a proposed rule because it required utilities to report disconnections at the zip code level. Consumers Council had advocated for the inclusion of zip code data which policy makers can use to target assistance programs for struggling households.
